I had a great experience with Kelly’s Auto & Power Sports. My moped had been sitting for a few years and wouldn’t start, so I called to see when I could bring it in. They were very accommodating and told me I could drop it off anytime before closing that day. The communication throughout the process was excellent. After taking a look at it, they called me and clearly explained what they found. They determined that the engine wasn’t holding compression properly and took the time to show me exactly what was wrong. They even let me record a video while they explained everything so I could better understand the issue. What really impressed me was their honesty. Instead of pushing an expensive repair, they were upfront about the cost and let me know it might not be worth fixing through them. Since my dad knew someone who could do the repair, we picked it up, and they didn’t charge us anything for diagnosing the problem. It’s hard to find businesses that are this honest, helpful, and communicative. I really appreciate the time they spent helping me figure out the issue, and I wouldn’t hesitate to bring another vehicle there in the future. Highly recommend!

Super personable guys. Followed up consistently as I went through the process of having my moped worked on. Had it diagnosed & priced out to me within a couple of days. Would highly recommend to anyone within the area.

I bought a 2022 Scootstar Racestar from Kelly’s a few years ago. I absolutely love it! Last year I was having issues with the battery holding a charge. I recently called Kelly’s and asked a gentleman if he had any idea what it could be, because I recently moved to Illinois and I couldn’t bring it in to get looked at. He suggested I change the voltage regulator. I was able to find the part online. I just installed it, and it completely fixed my issue. Thank you guys for all of your help. I will definitely be recommending Kelly’s from here on out!

I bought a used moped from a friend who had originally purchased it from Kelly's, so when it needed some work done, Kelly's was the obvious choice and they did not disappoint. Since I didn't have a truck to haul it over, they actually came and picked it up for me, which was above and beyond. Tyler specifically is incredibly knowledgeable, super friendly, and stands behind his work. The whole experience was professional from start to finish. If I'm ever in the market for another moped, Kelly's Auto and Powersports is the only place I'd consider. Highly recommend!

We had a truly great experience with Kelly's Auto and Powersports. Sometimes you come across a business that makes you feel comfortable from the very first conversation, and this was definitely one of those times. When we brought our daughter to the University of Iowa from Arizona, we wanted something reliable for her to get around town. Tyler made the whole process easy and stress-free, and we felt confident right away in our decision to purchase a scooter from them. What has really stood out, though, is the support we’ve received even after the sale. Over the past two years—with normal wear, a few bumps along the way, and even an unfortunate vandalism incident—they’ve consistently been there for us. Knowing our daughter is far from home, it’s incredibly reassuring to have a business we can trust looking out for her. The fact that they even picked up the scooter for free after it was vandalized says a lot about the kind of people they are. It’s rare to find this level of care and service these days. We’re very grateful and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for honest, reliable, and genuinely kind people.
